Holder deals
When a whale exits, loyal holders get first go at the coins, at 2% off. Also called Dip Rights.
When someone big sells, somebody gets the cheap coins. On most launchpads that's whoever's bot is fastest. On woop it's the people who held the coin.
How it works
- A big order joins the Exit Queue. A seller queues coins instead of dumping them. See Exit Queue.
- Loyal holders get the first minute. For 60 seconds, only loyal holders can buy from that order, at 2% below the current price.
- Then it opens to everyone. After the minute, any buy through woop fills the order at the current price, without the discount.
Who counts as loyal
You're a loyal holder of a coin when both are true:
- You've earned from holding it. Your hold-to-earn earnings show up in the coin's latest payout.
- You still hold it. Your balance is above zero right now.
Our program checks both on-chain when you buy. Selling wipes your earnings for that period, so flippers drop out on their own.
Getting a deal
When a deal is open on a coin you hold, the trade panel shows a Holder deal banner with how many coins are available and the discount. Tap it, then buy with Instant. Your buy takes the discounted coins first, then carries on to the rest of the queue and the curve.
The coin's Exit Queue tab also marks orders still in their holders' minute.
Why it matters
- The discount goes to the community. People who stuck with a coin get rewarded when someone leaves it.
- The seller is fine. The discount still respects the seller's floor, and the order fills smoothly instead of crashing the chart.
- Holding pays twice. You earn from every trade, and you get first go when a whale exits.
Fees
A holder deal pays the same fees as any Exit Queue fill: 1% each side on the curve. See Exit Queue.
