Fees

Every fee on woop, who gets it, and how it's paid.

Trades through woop pay 2% on the curve and 1.25% in the pool after graduation. The same curve trade from another app costs 3%. Launching is free.

For reference, LaunchLab caps a platform's fee at 5% and the creator fee at 0.5%.

On the curve: 2% per trade through woop

Every trade through woop pays a flat 2%, buys and sells alike.

Each new coin's platform fee is 2.25%. A trade through woop gets 1.25% of it back, in the same transaction. Our program pays the creator's 0.25% bonus from the rest, then splits what's left: 0.45% to holders and 0.30% to woop.

Trades through woop are the app's Instant trades and the leftover of a Fair Block.

With no promoter

The share fee is always charged. With no promoter, it goes to the coin's treasury, for holders. The trade costs 2% either way.

Trades from other apps: 3%

Anyone can trade a woop coin from another app, like Axiom, Photon or a bot. Those trades pay the full platform fee, with no rebate and no share fee:

Why woop is cheaper

The curve is open, so nothing can force a trade through woop. Instead, each coin's fee is set higher, and trades through woop get part of it back. Through woop you pay 2%. From another app you pay 3%, plus whatever that app charges. Holders earn more from the outside trades.

Pairs without a share fee

Only SOL, USD1 and Anon pairs support a share fee. On every other pair, the coin's platform fee is 2.5% instead, and our program pays the promoter. Through woop the trade still costs 2%.

Each coin has its own platform settings on LaunchLab, so the rate is set per coin.

Older coins

Coins launched before the rebate keep their old fees: 2% through woop, 1.75% from other apps on SOL, USD1 and Anon pairs. They get no rebate and no creator bonus.

After graduation: 1.25% per pool trade, forever

Once a coin graduates, every trade in its pool pays a 1% pool fee plus a 0.25% creator fee. That's the same from woop or any other app.

  • Holders50%0.42% of vol.
  • Creator20%0.168% of vol.
  • woop30%0.252% of vol.

Raydium keeps 0.16%. The other 0.84% comes to the coin through its Fee-Key NFT, and our program splits it:

SliceShare of 0.84%Of trade volume
Holders50%0.42%
Creator20%0.168%
woop30%0.252%

The 0.25% creator fee goes straight to the creator. Our program collects it from the pool and passes all of it on.

Exit Queue fills and matched Fair Block trades don't touch the curve, so there's no Raydium fee. The leftover of a Fair Block trades on the curve through woop: it pays 2%, and its 1.25% rebate goes to the side that traded.

After graduation, Exit Queue fills and the matched part of a Fair Block cost 1.25% each side, the same as a pool trade.

What woop earns

woop keeps 0.3% of curve trades through woop, 0.9% of curve trades from other apps, and about 0.25% of pool volume. Everything else goes to holders, creators, promoters and Raydium.
