Authentication

Get an API key, send it with every request, and rotate it.

Get a key

  1. Log in on usewoop.xyz.
  2. Open the wallet menu (top right) and pick API key.
  3. Sign the message your wallet shows. It's free and sends nothing; it only proves the wallet is yours.
  4. Press Create API key.

The key belongs to that wallet. Coins launched with it are credited to it, and you can see them on the key page and at GET /api/v1/me.

Send it

Put the key in the Authorization header:

x-api-key: woop_… works too.

See it again or rotate it

Come back to API key in the wallet menu any time and sign in to see your key. Rotate key gives you a new one; the old one stops working straight away.

The key is not a wallet

The key can't move anyone's funds. Every launch and trade is a transaction the user's own wallet has to sign.
