Wallets and login
Log in with Google, email or your Solana wallet. Trade instantly from trading wallets, with no pop-ups.
You can log in to woop with Google, email or a Solana wallet like Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. However you log in, you get a trading wallet: a Solana wallet that signs your trades instantly, with no pop-up to confirm.
Logging in and trading wallets are run by Privy, woop's login and wallet provider. woop never sees, stores or can read your trading wallets' private keys, and can't move your funds. Privy holds the keys, and you can export yours at any time.
Logging in
- Press Log in at the top of any page, or Connect with Google on the homepage.
- Pick Google, email or your wallet.
- Your first trading wallet is made for you straight away.
Your profile (name, photo and history) belongs to your own wallet if you logged in with one, or to your first trading wallet if you logged in with Google or email.
Trading wallets
A trading wallet signs trades without asking, so buys and sells go through in one click. Use them for:
- Buying and selling on any coin page, including Fair Blocks and the Exit Queue.
- One-click buys on Pulse, and one-click commits to fair launches.
- Launching a coin.
The wallet that trades is shown in the wallet menu at the top of the page and in the bar along the bottom of a coin page. Pick another one from either.
More than one
You can make as many trading wallets as you like: press + Trading wallet in the wallet menu, or New trading wallet on the wallets page. Give each one a name there with the pencil next to it. Names are kept in your browser.
Trading from several at once
Above Buy and Sell on a coin page, Trade with lists your wallets. Tick more than one and every trade runs in each of them:
- Buys split the amount evenly. 1 SOL across 3 wallets buys 0.333 SOL from each.
- Sells take the same share of each wallet's coins. Pick 50% and each wallet sells half of what it holds.
Pulse's one-click buys and commits use the same wallets, split the same way. If one wallet can't trade, for example it's short of SOL, the others still go through and the message says which one didn't.
Deposit, withdraw and export
All three are in the wallet menu and on the wallets page.
| How | |
|---|---|
| Deposit | Send SOL to the trading wallet's address from anywhere (copy it with one click), or move it in from the wallet you logged in with. |
| Withdraw | Send SOL from the trading wallet to any Solana address. It goes straight away. |
| Export key | Privy shows you the wallet's private key, so you can import it into Phantom or any other wallet app. woop never sees it. |
Each wallet card on the wallets page also shows its SOL and every woop coin it holds, with its value and what holding it has earned you.
Linking Google and your wallet
If you already use woop with a wallet like Phantom, you can add Google to the same account, and the other way round. Then either one logs you into the same account: the same profile, the same trading wallets.
- Log in the way you already do.
- Open the wallet menu and press Link Google to this account, or use the Log in with card on the wallets page. Google users see Link your wallet instead.
- Pick the Google account (or wallet) to add.
Your profile stays your wallet's, so your name, photo and history carry over when you log in with Google.
Saving profile changes after a Google login
Profile changes, API keys and Discord verification are signed by your profile's wallet. If that's a wallet like Phantom and you logged in with Google, woop asks you to connect it for that one signature.
Your keys and your data
- woop never sees or stores a private key. Wallets you connect stay in your wallet app. Trading wallets are made and held by Privy.
- You can always take your wallet with you. Export a trading wallet's key and use it anywhere.
- woop doesn't keep your email address. Privy handles it. See the privacy policy.
